A new exhibition, “Eye of the Beholder”, starts April 17, 2010 at Bob Poe Photographic Art.
iPhone artist Bob Poe makes a literal statement in his newest collection of iPhone photography entitled “Eye Photo”. Looking into the souls of his subjects its through their eyes you become entranced by their expression and emotion.
Mr. Poe welcomes several guest photographers into the gallery where we see the beauty of the world through their eyes.
Janos Lanyi, Stephen Verona, Laura Schmidt, and Maria Martin all bring different expressions of the world around us in an exhibition entitled “Eye of the Beholder”.
Exhibition Opening April 17, 2010, 5:00 -7:00 PM

If you’re at Bergamot Station, be sure to see this exhibit. Most, but not all, of the work is forgettable, but Janos’ images are the reason to visit as they’re the strongest and most compelling work in the show. They aren’t the photogravures he showed us at our April meeting, but they’re excellent, black and white, candid portraits.
