The Photographers Exchange will be having our regular meeting this coming Thursday, April 17th at the regular place, Irvine Fine Arts Center, Irvine (OC), CA from 6:30 – 9:30 pm. All are welcome. This, like most of our meetings, is to show prints, look at prints, and discuss prints. No juries, no judges and no first place ribbons. If you need ribbons, then this is NOT the place for you;- )
Simple process. You bring 5 prints, matted or not, sign up on the list to show your prints, and when its your turn, you put your prints up on the easels and under the lights. We look and then we discuss. Then you take your prints down and the next photographer takes their turn. Simple, eh?
Coffee is usually served.
This Thursday, Larry Vogel is also going to discuss the web site for the members and I am going to announce this blog. At the last meeting, we ran out of time before I was able to show my prints, so I will be at the top of the list, and this image above is from China and my project Open During Construction (Zhao Chang Ying Ye) will be one of my five images.
Oh, if you want to join the group, the annual dues are $36.00, which is not too bad.
